Oluwaseum, Djarbeng win West Africa titles

Wahab Oluwaseum's world title chase moved a step up over the weekend after winning the West Africa Boxing Union (WABU) title in only his 7th professional fight.
The Ghana based Nigerian improved to 7-0, 5 KOs following a 5th round TKO victory over Hope Mawuli in the headline bout of the All for One Promotions bill codenamed Punch Night 3 at the Seconds Out gym in Accra on Sunday night and with it the WABU Super Featherweight title. Another WABU belt winner on the night was Richmond Djarbeng, the former WBA Pan-Africa Welterweight champion who knocked out Sani Yidana Kugblie in round 2 of their West Africa Welterweight championship.
Also victorious on Punch Night 3 was former Commonwealth cham[ion, Charles Adamu The Crusader who stopped Abdul Majid in round 4 of their scheduled 8-round Super Middleweight contest of the bill sanctioned, approved and supervised by the Ghana Boxing Authority.

In other fights on the same bill, Patrick Ayi also kept up his perfect career record following a 4th round TKO win over Michael Kwakuvi in their Featherweight contest to improve to 12-0, 8 KOs) whilst also unbeaten Isaac Sackey claimed a 6th round TKO victory against Kofi Atanga.
Other winners included Theophilus Tetteh who earned a round 6 TKO over Daniel Adjato in a Super Welterweight contest, Benjamin Borteye claimed a 5th round TKO against James Aryee in a Welterweight clash and Samuel Turkson beat Kofi Asamoah courtesy a TKO in round 5 of their Lightweight contest.
Rounding up the list of winners on Punch Night 3 were Abdul Aziz Quartey who stopped Peter Aryee in round 4 of their Welterweight contest, Joseph Adjei Mensah who claimed a round 5 TKO over Sammy Addo in their Super Middleweight contest as well as Melchizedek Borquaye who won his debut as a professional over Steve Emu via TKO in round 4 of the Welterweight contest.
