Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew scored against each other last Saturday, a feat that has never happened in the history of the English Premier League It's a beautiful thing for a family to see their son step foot onto a football pitch for the very first time, but how amazing it must be to see both of your children make it in the Premier League, must be something in the genes. In the English Premier League, remarkably there have been some heartwarming moments when two brothers have taken to the field together to play against each other. But there has never been any occasion where both brothers have scored in the same match for their respective clubs. You can mention of the Ferdinand brothers - Rio (Manchester United) and Anton (QPR), Gary Neville (Manchester United) and Phil Neville (Everton), Fabio (QPR) and Rafael Da Silva (Manchester United). However, history was made last Saturday at the Villa Park when the brothers became the first African siblings to score in an EPL match against each other.Mainstays in the Ghana side, the Ayew boys – sons of Abedi Pele – are already royalty in England, where Jordan plays for Aston Villa and Andre shining at Swansea. The brothers - Jordan And Andre Ayew - scored against each other in Aston Villa’s 2-1 home reverse against Swansea City.Jordan, who was without a Premier League goal since his move to the Villa Park from French side Lorient, dived to head home a Gabby Agbonlahor low cross in the 62nd minute to fire Tim Sherwood’s side in front . Sigurdsson scored to equalize for Swansea. But Andre Ayew came to the party with a late effort to seal the maximum points for the Welsh side, a goal that has led to the sacking of Jordan's coach Tim Sherwood. The brothers have also endured mixed fortunes in the EPL. While Andre has starred—winning the division’s Player of the Month award for August—Jordan has struggled to find his best form. The striker, who scored 12 for FC Lorient last season, has been in and out of Aston Villa's starting XI and after five appearances (only three of which were starts) Jordan is yet to make a decisive contribution. While Jordan scored his first ever Premier League goal of the season, Andre who was voted the Premier League’s player of the month of August scored his 5th goal of the campaign.
